Hard edges, poppy colours, cool geometry. Hexagonal columns of cast plaster lie tile by tile across the surface, their white skin run through with a fine crackle pattern. The form quotes the basalt columns of the Giant's Causeway, that natural wonder built from nothing but perfect hexagons. Between the columns a stream glows out in neon orange, like fresh lava forcing its way through. Above it floats the airplane in orange plexiglass, sawn, drilled and held together by black brass rods, with an angular tip of aluminium. Nature and machine meet here in the same strict geometry.
